Style individual radio button responses

I am using Contact Form 7 and have a questionnaire that I created with CF7 many years ago. At the time, it was possible for a user to submit the form without selecting any of the radio button options in a set if they didn’t want to.

In other words, providing a response to the radio buttons was optional (which is the behaviour I want).

I have just noticed that now the form will not submit unless the user has selected an option for every single set of radio buttons.

The solution I’m trying to implement is to have a “no answer” option in the list of radio button responses, and to have this option selected by default, but to make this option invisible to the user.

To do this, I need a way to style the form so that just the “no answer” option in each radio button set is invisible and all of the other options remain visible.

I can see how to style an entire radio button, but not individual pieces of text – can anybody help?
