Style errors!?

Basically, the style is perfect on page.php and single.php but a couple of things aren’t the same on index.php – like the title of my blog in the top left corner, I’ve removed that from header.php so why is it still showing in index.php but not the others?!
Also, footer alignment…perfect in single.php and page.php but not in index.php….they are all reading the same stylesheet so I’m very confused! 🙁
