    Hi there!

In trying to insert an image into my header, I must’ve done something to the code and now have lost the padding on all my pages.

You’ll see on the home page how “Mac ‘n Cheese News” and my social media widget are on the edges of the page, instead of floating in the center as they had been. I would like to get all my pages centered again, but am not sure how.

Is there a way to revert back to the default thematic code?

Or is there something I did that I can undo to my header.php code? [Though I’m confused as to why what changed changed, as it seems like it’s not the header that lost its formatting but the content underneath….]

  • If you’re sure the header.php file is causing the problem, download the Thematic theme again and replace your copy of header.php with the unaltered version. If you’ve made changes to other theme files, you may need to replace them, too.

In the future, it may make sense to create a Child Theme for your changes–that way it’s easier to pinpoint problematic changes and revert.
