• Thanks for a great plug-in. I actually use this with many other online stores I manage.. and all works very well… until I set this up on a new one. I was doing some testing in sandbox mode.. but, after turning sandbox mode off… I am now getting this message at the top of the admin center “WooCommerce PayPal Payments ( ) is currently running in Sandbox mode and will NOT process any actual payments.” So.. now when I try and process an order on the website.. I get various error messages.. and I can’t move forward in testing until I figure out why the message is showing up. Again, I have checked all boxes and ensured Sandbox is turned off. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

That’s very odd. It sounds like somehow the settings are messed up in the database.

Can you go back to the settings page, double check the settings values, and then click save at the bottom of that page even if you don’t have to change anything? That may help clean up the database values if there’s an issue there.

Please give that a shot and let me know if that does anything.

Thanks for the prompt response. Is there a way to “restore ALL values to default”, which will then reset the database? Thanks so much.

Ok… I somewhat figured out what may be causing the issue. I continued trying what you indicated previously. Clicking Save (without making changes) at the bottom of each payment option. I then “check marked” the sandbox and clicked save… I then “check marked” enable on each payment option. I went back and forth checking and unchecking boxes… until it finally went away. I found out that it shows up after I put in my user, password and vendor (payflow), which is the payment method I want to use.
It appears my paypal account may be causing the issue. I entered a user, password and vendor from another account that I have.. and boom – it worked. But, when I enter the information from another paypal account.. boom – there’s the problem. I contacted paypal and am waiting for a call back from their integration team to help sort out the issue. I’ll post back what I find out. Thanks.

I guess I’m not fully understanding where you’re seeing the error and what exactly it is. Can you provide a screenshot?

i have the same issue. sandbox stays clicked no matter what.

Those settings are saved in the database, which gets updated when you click save, of course. It’s very odd that it wouldn’t be holding whatever you set there.

Do you have any CDN or caching services that would be caching your database data?

I too am stuck in sandbox mode. I have also checked and rechecked all of my settings and it will not go away. I don’t see any solutions here really.

Does anyone know what table in the database holds the sandbox information?

    Thanks,
    Regina

@chrissis1111, please submit a ticket here and provide temporary login credentials for the WordPress admin panel so we can take a look.
