stuck at Preparing to import

hello, I have two backups I had made, one is smaller and does not include all the files and one is large and contains all the web files (my point here is that I have tried both)
Let me tell you first, I did try the normal way of importing the site (249mb) first and it never got beyond 7% so after reading up, I tried the ftp then restore backup method.
I uploaded my backup to the wp-content/ai1wm-backups folder, it is about 249 mb. I went to the Backups page and selected the backup, and all it will do is say “preparing to import…” and spin around but nothing ever happens. The back up was created in May of 2015 and I am using the newest version of your plugin. I am on GoDaddy.
I also tried using an older version of your plugin but that did not work either.
Any clue why this is happening?

I’m willing to bet that it has to do with the cPanel that GoDaddy provides not having the sufficient resources to process everything. For some reason I had no problems with my website when I was using their managed wordpress feature but now that i’m managing my own website on their cpanel I’m having soooo many errors.Hi batmanstrmc,

Our error log is located on /wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-wp-migration/storage/error.log.
Could you let me know what you find?Also, have you checked if you have backups from other plugins that you can delete before export?

Thank you for responding to me I really appreciate that!
I actually was able to get past the “Preparing to import”.
The database was imported all the way and the cPanel says that I have 6000 more files but for some reason nothing happened to my actual website. Everything “seems” like it went fine but when I go to my actual website there’s no content. The upload bar went all the way to 100 and then it asked me to overwrite database and I clicked yes and then it imported 100% but when I visit my website it’s like nothing happened… My website is wwww.strmc.org and the backup I’m using is the Gym Demo content from the bottom of this page: https://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/demo-content-info/alternate-demo-method/I looked at the error log that you told me to look at and this is what I found: ———————-
