Updated to 11.4 and seeing author name flagged as error in Google’s structured data testing tool:
author
@type Thing
@id {valid URL for site}
name – A value for the name field is required.

Downgraded to 11.3 and no error so, 11.4 introduced the change that causes google structured data testing tool to throw an error.

This is a bug. A fix is currently in the works for it but we do not have a release date yet. You can learn more about the issue here https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/13094.
