    Hi
I have setup an annual payment with PMPro and stripe.com as gateway – but when testing and a test costumer checks out the product that is created in the stripe dashboard is a trial product – not as an active product. And none of the products has trial period set.
Can somebody help with this is? It driving me crazy:)

    Hi @ipftpdk

Thank you for using Paid Memberships Pro.

You may ignore this ‘trial’ status, as it means that the user’s subscription hasn’t been billed yet. (For their recurring subscription).

Once the subscription is charged, the status of trial to active.

    Hi Andrew
Thanks for the answer – but when will the costumer be billed?
Do I have to log in to Stripe an do this?

right now all my test subscriptions are marked as trials

they are all started up as free trials for 12 month – but they should start with payment from day one.

If you set an initial price, user’s will be charged a one time payment at the time of checkout. This is treated separately from the recurring billing fees which means it’s not part of the recurring subscription plan Stripe creates.

The subscription will automatically be handled and processed by Stripe when the payment date is reached. (i.e. 12 months from date of signup).
