• Hi not a dev here, but slowly coming to grips with working some of the CSS out. What is troubling me, I have a widget on the homepage which I want to stretch for side to side like the header. What seems to be the problem is the class col-md-3 which is the columns from bootstrap. If I am in Firebug and I remove this class out, everything works perfectly, but I have no idea how to do this within the style sheet itself.

    Here is the excerpt of code

    <div id="home-page-widgets">
    <div class="container">
    <div class="row">
    <aside class="home-widget col-md-3 shortcode_widget" id="shortcode-widget-5">
    <div class="textwidget"> Text or Shortcode in here</div>
    </aside>
    </div>
    </div>
    </div>

    OK, so progress. I have forced it by doing the following, but I still can not get it to go edge to edge.

    #shortcode-widget-5 {
            width: 100% !important;
    }

    That’s the code I have used for the widget, the only way I have been able to get edge to edge is with

    position: absolute;
    	left: 0;
    	right: 0;

    The only problem is that causes it to overlap the DIV underneath it which doesn’t work.

    EDIT: Is there anyway to break this section out of the container div? As that what seems to be stopping it.
