Strange text issue with CRP.

    Latest WP version, Contextual Related Posts has an odd issue where the title text does not go below the image pulled from the post.

    The title is stuck at the top of the image and looks terrible!

    I made sure there wasn’t a clash with the override option, but it did not work and setting to image only did not remove the title text either.

    Is there a fix?

    Can you try clearing the cache in the plugin’s settings page? And, also check that the other caches are cleared? This is mainly been because of the change in HTML markup in the last version release.

    Plugin Cache cleared, along with testing multiple browsers, multiple computers, etc.

    One is image set at 150x150px
    The other is set at 300x300px

    Neither of which fits properly in the frame and the text you see is supposed to be below the image.

    Just looking at the images, these don’t look like the default styles included in the plugin. Is this custom CSS code?

    There may be some customization, not 100% sure, it’s Genesis with the Simply Charming theme.

    But either case, I updated WP/Plugins, this plugin broke, what do I need to look at to start working on a fix?

    What file (Php/html/etc.) do I need to look at for checking for styling conflicts with the plugin?

    What’s your site URL where you have the posts?

    I don’t know Genesis or Charming, so very difficult to comment on the what you need to change in there

    Hi,

    If you have a style defined in your style.css .crp_related .crp_title, .crp_related_widget .crp_title {

    Please can you try deleting: height: inherit;

    Also change left to 0px from 6px
