    Hi,

I’ve been using your plugin for few weeks already and pretty happy about it, until yesterday.

I can see that Paypal (card payments) button and Google Pay dissapeared. It’s still active in the settings, also I have not changed anything, so pretty surpsised where did it go (there is only paypal pay button).

I have made some tests, and when trying to buy anything, I have encountered this message:

‘Failed to process the payment. Please try again or contact the shop admin. [Error] Unknown error while connecting to PayPal. Status code: 0.’

    Sometimes it works, sometimes not.

Maybe you can help me out.

    Thanks

    Paul

    Hello @paulxkrt

This error looks a bit like a temporary connection issue between your site and PayPal. I’ve seen it appear from time to time, and according to Downdetector, PayPal experienced some disruptions recently, including issues with onboarding (faced it myself today). But that doesn’t explain why card payments and Google Pay disappeared.

To investigate further, please share your system status report so we can check your current configuration:

    1. Go to WooCommerce → Status in your site’s admin panel.
    2. Click Get system report, then Copy for support.
    3. Paste the full report into our PrivateBin.
    4. After uploading, share the link here so we can review it in detail.

    Thanks in advance!

    Kind Regards,
    Krystian

    Hello @paulxkrt

There was a temporary outage affecting PayPal services globally, which also impacted other plugins and parts of the PayPal environment. This issue was unrelated to the PayPal Payments plugin itself.

Everything should now be back to normal.

    Kind regards,
    Krystian
