Strange header in sent emails

I have SmartSMPT integrated in everest forms.
Recently, after having to reset the connection, the outgoing emails have a strange header.
How can I solve this?

Hi @polavida,

Thanks for pasting that; it tells me exactly what’s happening.

That block isn’t actually part of the header. It’s styling code from the Everest Forms email template. Normally, it sits invisibly at the top of the message and controls how the email is formatted, so seeing it as plain text means something has caused it to be rendered incorrectly.

One quick question to confirm the cause: are the affected emails ones you sent again using the Retry or Resend button under SmartSMTP → Mail Logs after resetting the connection? Or does this also happen with brand-new form submissions that were never resent?

If it’s only happening with resent emails, I’ve already found the issue on our side and we’ll fix it in the next release. For now, those emails should come through correctly when the form is submitted normally rather than resent from the logs.

If new submissions are affected too, let me know and I’ll dig deeper.
