Strange Editing activity…

    Strange that this seems to be getting worse and it happens on more than one WIN10 computer. I seem to think that it happened in Win8 too.

    I go to edit a page but when I enter a character from the keyboard, the text jumps up preventing me from seeing the point of entry for the text. I finish typing blindly and then hit arrow up once. The text I entered is now on the screen with the cursor in the line above where I was typing.

    This happens all the time. In order to place a paragraph of text, it is easier for me to type it all out in a separate file using a text editor such as Notepad++ then using copy/paste to place it into the WordPress page.

    Setting? Defect? Normal?

    Have you tried:
    -deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
    -switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
