store product gallery

Hi there,
My question has to do with products on a store site.
I was wondering if there is anyway to get all product pictures to slide in product gallery instead of just 3 without using a plugin. Since I tried every stinkin slide plugin and the directions went completely over my head, I’m not a plugin guru like some smart wiper snappers on here. is there a setting in the tools on product options perhaps where you can load 8 images and they slide in a row instead of rows and rows taking up space? A code perhaps to put in theme editor php or how bout a free east to understand slider plugin that you activate that just moves the images. Thanks for reading…
