Store customized files securely to avoid deletion

    Hi,

    Loco Translate is great plugin!

    It would be very helpfull for users to support following:

    1) When there are current localization files bundled with theme or plugin, move them automatically into wp-content/languages folder to avoid deletion when using Loco Translate for customizing it.

    2) When there are language packs active for any theme/plugin, Loco Translate should use its custom directory, for example wp-content/loco (or turn off automatic language packs system) for storing files to avoid their deletion.

    The plugin will save new files to the wp-content/languages directory when it is writeable by the web server.

    I’m aware of the problem with auto-updates and the next version of the plugin will address this.

    Closing this ticket as the issues are known.
