Stop words interfering with & 301 redirect

    Hi,
    We’re moving our blog to a new wordpress installation. The blog has about 950 articles and the old site didn’t have Yoast SEO.

    The “Remove Stop Words” feature changed all post-slugs and now we’re having trouble redirecting from the articles! (the old slugs to which the search-engines refer all had stop-words)
    I switched it off, but the slugs stay the same and redirect is a nightmare.

    Can anyone help me reset the post-slugs back to their original (title based) format?

    PS: importing the posts again is not an option: there was an issue with the images not correctly refering to the articles and we had to set the featured image of each of the 950 aricles by hand (!)
