Stop vertical scrolling when pressing submit button

Is there any way I can stop the vertical scrolling when pressing submit button? I’m setting up a simple email form with only an input field and a submit button, and I find it bothersome that the screen automatically scrolls when the submit button is pressed. If this is not possible from within the user interface, then please consider it as a feature request.
