Stop Cropping in Posts

    I want the featured images on posts to be proportional, to appear without being cropped when a post is viewed. It is fine when I have a list of posts in a blog view, but when a post is selected, the featured image is cropped square. The thumbnails are not constrained to exact dimensions.

    I tried messing with featured-image in the Stylesheet but nothing worked.
