Stock reducing for no reason

    My products keep going out of stock and in backorder when they shouldn’t be.

    It seems to happen when someone cancels and order before they pay. In that case the product should be returned… But they’re not.

    It also happens randomly some times.

    I’m not sure what’s going on or how to fix this. It seems so basic.

    I’ve tried the Auto Restore Stock plugin but it still doesn’t seem to work.

    Any ideas?

    Hi @scullyv,

    From what I understand, user adds product to cart > inventory goes down > Doesn’t pay and order cancels > but the inventory stays as that lowered number correct?

    To clarify, the order is set to cancelled correct?

    Also if you go to WooCommerce > System Status > Tools > Clear All Sessions, does that help?

    I’d also recommend clearing cache if you have a cache plugin as well as contacting your host to clear any server cache, if there is any.
