    Hello,

    I’m finding this plugin doesn’t listen to what you ask it to do. I have many variations for my products. I have asked all of the more expensive ones but the cheapest to not sync to Facebook, yet it seems to only shows the expensive ones. I also have products no longer available on my website and the listing has been deleted, yet they show in my Facebook shop. I also find it strange how I have to click a button to refresh my Facebook shop, rather than it sync automatically. Am I missing something?

    Hi Julie,

    No problem – which parts do you need to see? I’ve attached my overall shop settings and then a couple of listings with problems. You’ll see that the description is coming through as code, despite giving the correct description in the Facebook description box. It is also picking up the wrong variant, with either the most expensive or mid-priced variant selected, when I’ve instructed them to not be synced. Additionally, they’re showing as in stock when they’re out of stock on my website. The connection seems to be the issue but I don’t understand how to fix it.

    Hi Julie,

    I’ve added 4 screenshots. TF1 & 2 seem to not really add anything as I can’t see why I’d change any settings there, TF3 shows you what I have included in my cheapest variation which I’d like to show, and TF4 shows you what I have included in all of the other variations which I don’t want to show.

    Thanks for the added screenshots and details. I’m going to loop back with a colleague and see if I can get some more insight here. I’ll come back to you as soon as I can with an update!

    In the meantime, have you enabled the plugins Debug Mode? If not, would you please go ahead and do that and then attempt a manual sync? This could show us some valuable information about what data is being sent to Facebook.

    With the latest version (2.1.4), you should be able to use the WooCommerce default variation settings on the product to sync over to Facebook. That might not fully address your issue, though it might be helpful.

    Additionally, my colleague lets me know that setting “do not sync” doesn’t end up deleting the product on the Facebook side. You can use the sidebar meta link to delete the whole product from Facebook and then resync.

    Would you please let me know if that works? Any screenshots of any errors you encounter or any odd synchronizations would be super helpful.

    Excellent to hear that it’s getting through okay on Facebook! Thank you so much for updating me here. 🙂

    Our plugin synchronizes to the Catalog and, from there, the Facebook shop or Instagram should be able to pull from the Catalog.

    As it’s showing up okay on Facebook, my thinking here is that there’s something on the Facebook/Instagram integration portion that’s not working right. Unfortunately, since it’s on the Facebook and Instagram side of things, we’re unable to help out with this portion of the issue.
