Still looking for answers:

  • I am still looking for answers to my question from yesterday, “HOW DO I MAKE THE SUB-MENUS, APPEAR BELOW THE MAIN MENUS WHEN I PUT THE MOUSE OVER THEM? – IT IS MY UNDERSTANDING THAT THIS WAS DONE WITHOUT MY ASSISTANCES, BUT IT DOESN’T WORK. MY SUB-MENUS ARE COMPLETELY HIDEN.

Also, I know what a catagory is, and a slug, but what is a tag?

    Thanks

Assuming your theme supports dropdown menus, you should be able to follow the directions on the Codex page to create your submenus. You might want to check with your theme’s author if you still can’t get it working.

As for your taxonomy question, try thinking of it this way:

    • Categories are a way to group posts by subject
    • Tags are a way to pick out key words and topics within your post content

Slugs are how categories, tags, post names and other things are represented in the page URL. So for example, let’s say you had a category of ‘Our News’. The link to that section on your site might be yoursite.com/our-news. ‘our-news’ is the slug for the Our News category. No two slugs on your site can be the same.

    Hope that helps.

I just mouse over one of menu About and see the menu fine.

Yes, someone responded to my post from Yesterday just minutes after I made this post. And lead me on the right track. So I experimented with About just before going to Church.
    Thanks
