Step 2 Provide Email

    I installed 2.6 to play with as I am new to WordPress. I am now ready to use it for real and wanted to start totally clean. I removed all of the WP files from my web server and got rid of the db and created a new one. Now when I go to install, it hangs on the second page telling me to provide an email even though I did. I searched through the forums and others have had this issue, but I could not find an answer. Can anyone guide me?

    what do you mean it hangs on the second page ?
    Does it sends the query ?
    Was the new database touched ?
    Did you made a new CONFIG with all the secret keys ?
    If you think you did all the steps, just try uploading everything again, control the config server parameters, secret keys parameters, and then try again following THIS
