Statistics not reliable

    From time to time, overall statistics show a total of 0 views for a certain day. When I check other reports, there are apparently actual views. Only the overall report shows the wrong result.

    Is there any possibility to update the Dashboard overall report for the views?

    thanks for reaching me out. I do have the same Matomo version and same plugins installed at another instance without any issue.

    Thank you for sending the system check report. Could you please address the error about php cli by checking this guide: How to solve the error message “Your PHP CLI version is not compatible with the Matomo requirements” I believe that addressing this error will fix the issue,

    Since the last plugin update, the error message is gone. Only left is the message “WP-Rocket is incompatible from version 3.12. Until fixes, please reinstall version 3.11.5 if you have a newer version. For more information please visit How to downgrade Wp-rocket to be compatible with Matomo“

    Anyway, I will check if the not counting correctly still will apprear.

    But as the current report in dashboard does not show the corret numbers, is it possible to click one of the buttons below troubleshooting? I am afraid to lose any data…

    Hello @blapps I would recommend to fix the error first. Matomo for WordPress is incompatible with WP-Rocket v3.12 as this is a known issue. You can simply downgrade WP-Rocket to v3.11.5 and lets see how it goes from there.

    Downgrading is not an option due to risk reasons.

    Is it planned for the near future to make WP Rocket compatible with Matomo?

    Hello @blapps It’s already planned but there is no specific time when it will be implemented. What I could recommend is to switch in using Matomo On-Premise instead of Matomo for WordPress plugin.
