    Hi Ben,

    What’s the great theme you made?! Fabulous! I love it. I use it.

    Listen, could you advice me how to get nice looking Static Home page?

    I made the Page and put couple of shortcodes from plugins in there but it looks very narrow. I guess it is packed in the blog text container.

    Should I upgrade to Premium Layout? But I understand that the Layout covers the whole thing, not just a Home page.

    Give me voice, man! 🙂

    If you send me a link to your site, I will check it out and post the CSS here to make the text container wider.

    The premium layouts are for the blog and archives, so they won’t help you with a static homepage.

    P.S. If Tracks had premium homepage templates, is that something you’d be interested in? Here’s an example of what one would look like: http://cl.ly/image/231v3j0E0E2o

    Hi Ben,

    I like your idea about Premium Home page. Let’s chat about it.

    Image you sent me is very nice, really! Please, figure the upgrade cost out. I’m in.

    I understand that the Header with Logo and Main menu is the same. But both are inverted, right? It will be CSS for text and new logo?

    Is this a slider? Or it will be the option? Or I should purchase the Slider plugin either?

    Do you plan to place some areas beneath?

    I love this idea much more than to create the CSS class just for Home page. I’m looking for the way to donate your job. 🙂

    Awesome!

    The colors and font sizes would all be adjustable through the Customizer – no CSS needed. The background would be one stationary image. Do you think a slider would be better?

    I’d considered adding more content below, but thought it might be best to keep it simple. Do you think that example I showed you would work well for your site?

    Hi Ben,

    I agree with you about Simple Design conception. I love it! I also thought about 3 column Latest from the Blog area below but… you know, you’re right. Zen rules!

    Stationary image could work. We can place the most important message over there. But slider could extend the potential of the Home page. It makes this project more complex but you could develop it step-by-step.

    If you can provide the One-Image-Static-Home-Page right now it will be great! I understand it will be the full-screen, responsive, right?

    I will support you if you keep working for slider then.

    By the way, I made the Mo/Po translation of the Tracks to Russian. If you wish I send you them to your Email at competethemes.com, for free, of course.

    Great, thanks for the feedback! Yes, it will be full-screen and responsive. I will look into adding a slider option as well – I think people would really like that.
