Started blocking ALL registrations yesterday

    It appears that yesterday, April 27th, CleanTalk started denying all registration attempts on the website. It seems to have started mid day. This blocked all recording of data and payment. I have disabled CleanTalk so that our conference registrations can go through, but would appreciate this getting resolved. I have been very pleased with how your system has worked up to this point and would like to keep using it. Thank you.

    Hello, @srqwebguy2.

    I looked into the website requests based on the URL you provided and I see that the issue is about filtration, that means that we have to discuss the CleanTalk service.

    As per the WordPress catalog rules, WordPess.org Support Forum is for plugins only, not the service. We are not allowed to discuss any premium or non-plugin issues here.

    Hello,

    I have encountered same issue. All new registrations on front of website are blocked after plugin update, until Cleantalk PLugin disabled. Then registrations working again.

    Please advise on next steps to restore Cleantalk plugin functionality without blocking all legit registrations

    Hello.

    We have fixed the issue. Please, re-install the CleanTalk plugin from this archive:
    https://github.com/CleanTalk/wordpress-antispam/releases/download/fix-version/cleantalk-spam-protect.zip

    The guide is here:

    Then change one option here:
    • WordPress Admin Page —> Settings —> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk —> Advanced settings —> set the option “Set cookies” to “Off” —> Save Changes.

    Don’t forget to refresh your website cache after all these steps if you use any.

    We’ve released the fixed version 6.9.1. If your current 6.9-fix version works well then you can skip this update.
