[NSFW] Start marker counted in cluster

    I am using version 2.2.260. WP core is up to date. I’m new to maintaining this site but I don’t see any related plugins.

    When you go to the link above and use the filter to show only clinics within 10km of Nelson, you see that the map shows a cluster of 4 clinics. If you zoom in on that cluster, it turns out there are only 3 clinics.

    The missing clinic is the “start location” marker which I have hidden. I’m not exactly sure what that marker is for but we don’t want it to be visible or counted in clusters. I saw on this page: https://wpstorelocator.co/document/configure-wp-store-locator/#map that there is supposed a setting to hide the start location markers from clusters.

    This is the text from that page:

    Exclude the start marker from the marker cluster? Enabling this option prevents the start marker from being included in a marker cluster, so it will always show up as a single marker.

    That would be exactly what I need to do. However, that option doesn’t exist on my site as you can see in the screenshot below:

    Is there another way to hide that marker from the cluster count?

    Hi there, thanks for writing.

    The option you mention is no longer available in the latest version of the plugin, sorry about that. The documentation seems to be outdated.

    However, this setting will be back in the upcoming version 3.0 🙂
