Hi, I don’t really have a site/blog yet, but I’ve been playing around with my potential blog foreverstocks.com/wordpress. I was trying to switch the URL on my own to just foreverstocks.com. And now my wordpress admin is “site not found.”

My question is, can I start all over by reinstalling wordpress and then my new URL would be foreverstocks.com? Any step toward the road to recovery would be helpful.

What you have done so far is basically the first step of these instructions 🙂

Just carry on to have foreverstocks.com as your blog.

Is there a way to accomplish any of this without even being able to log in?

For example, how do I upload a text edit without having any access?

Steps 1, 2 and 3 you have done from within the WP Dashboard while logged in.

Steps 4 and 5 are accomplished either from your hosting control panel’s file manager or via an FTP program such as FileZilla that connects to your hosting account file system.

Steps 6 and 7 are again done from the WP Dashboard.
