Staging site and licensing

    Question: I’d like to use a staging site to test 2.3 when I get ready to try the upgrade again, but how do I deal with the licensing for the woothemes plugins? Does one production license cover staging areas too, and if so, how do I get the keys entered properly so it’s fully functional?

    I believe you should ask this question directly to Woothemes and/or the developer of the extensions you are using.

    Licences don’t prevent plugins from working – they are simply for updates. You can test on a staging server without a licence.

    Yes, but in the situation where I am “testing the update”. Which I am and is recommended in your documentation. How should one go about doing this?
