SQL error after updating to version 3.3.1

    Hello,
    I’ve updated the plung in (to 3.3.1 version), but I got a SQL error:

    TranslatePress gettext database optimization failed. Error: Update aborted while clearing stale gettext locale original ids before original deduplication. SQL error: Illegal mix of collations (utf8mb4_unicode_ci,IMPLICIT) and (utf8mb4_unicode_520_ci,IMPLICIT) for operation ‘<>’

    I don’t know hot fix it (I’ve tried to install the previous version of the plug in, without success.
    Anyone got this error? How can I fix it?

    Hello @nenelena

    Could you please click the Retry button in the notice where the error appears, to see whether this resolves the issue?

    It’s possible that the database optimization started on the previous version but didn’t complete successfully on that version. Retrying it now on the latest TranslatePress Multilingual 3.3.1 should allow it to finish correctly.

    Thanks for your reply!
    Unfortunately, the “retry” button didn’t work… So, I restored a previous back up of the entire web site and, after that, I upgraded the PHP version (to version 8.4). This worked, for me!
    Again, thanks a lot for your support (…maybe you’re right and the PHP update it’s a coincidence!! 😅)
