    I have a question regarding a search for books in a library.
    If I want to make a search for all books related to criminal law written by a particular author (Carlos Perez), I have to write:
    Carlos Perez + criminal law
    or it will bring me all books related to criminal law together with all books written by Carlos Perez regardless of whether they are related to this topic or any other else?

    Depends on your search settings. If your default operator is “AND”, searching for “carlos perez criminal law” will only return results that contain all four words. If your default operator is “OR”, that search will return any post that has even one of the words, but will prefer those that match more than one.
