    Hi,

I’ve just recently installed forminator on my website, and have set up the poll for users, the first week was fine, and the results were as expected, but I’ve noticed that someone is now creating false entries to the poll, and scewing the results. They are equal constantly, and the poll question as a test should have had an almost unanimous result. Is there any other way to secure the poll? I’ve tried both cookies and IP.

    Many thanks,

That is harsh and I would have hoped the IP single submission would have caught them. Sounds like someone is being sneaky at ruining your polls.

    🙁

    Hi @damntastymuffin

Sorry to hear you are having this issue.

On the Votes per user at the Behaviour tab, do you have it limited to Once or multiple votes?

The user IP or Browser Cookie will together with that setting.

Let us know how you have this set.
    Best Regards

    Hello @damntastymuffin ,

If the user (or multiple users) that wants to fake the results will change their IP (they only need to disconnect router if their IP is dynamic) and clear the browser cache every time there is really nothing that can be done to prevent that I’m afraid.

    kind regards,
    Kasia
