Hello, this seems to be a very nice forum and discussion platform and I am testing it with the embedded version. At the moment, it seems that whatever design changes I made are not save-able. That is only cosmetic so I am not so bothered by it. The more serious concern at this moment is spam management. There seems to be no tools and no setting for that. Can you tell how this is done by you and whether we can do anything to input specifics that are likely to attack our site? This is about both commenting and the forum.

I am not sure if I could ask another question in this same topic, but here it is anyway: once a comment is posted, does it become a static content in my post and is searchable by Google?

I look forward to your answer and thank you again for a very nice platform.

    Hello there!

Glad to hear you’re enjoying using Muut. We actually do offer spam protection. Posts (or comments) are flagged as spam on an automated level, powered by Akismet, as well as allowing regular forum users to recommend a post as spam. Posts that have been flagged as spam can then be viewed (and deleted or unspammed) by administrators, who have a “Spam” button in the right navigation of the main forum embed to open that view.

Regarding SEO, we do generate a static version of all the content that is served to the Search Engines when they crawl your site, which means the content is indexed properly by Google. So you’re good to go there!

Let me know if you have any other questions; happy Muuting!

Saving your style changes by just clicking Save requires the paid Mini plan or higher, but you can still use the Designer tool to generate the CSS code.
