It adds the comment to a hidden spam database that will be used to catch future spam.
I was wondering the same thing. What information is stored in the db? In other words, what info does it key off of inorder to determine that a new message is spam.

because I still receiving the same spam, maybe different IP, but same poker stuff
The entire comment is stored in the database and marked as [spam]. This is in preparation for an upcoming feature, so there is nothing to really take advantage of this right now, but it is good practice to build your spam library ASAP.
If you want to delete all comments marked as [spam], use Chris J. Davis’ Spam Nuker:
