• Hi there,

I might have found a bug when inserting PDF files as a link.
This ONLY occours in “text mode” (editor) not in visual mode.

When I hit “Add file”, pick a random pdf/doc/etc. and paste it into the editor the link comes up something like this:

    <a href="http://www.website.com/sample.pdf"rel="">This is a sample PDF</a>

As you might notice, there is a “space” missing between the href path and the rel=””. This leads to a faulty link when you save or preview the page.

Again this only happens when using text-only mode. Visual mode creates perfectly fine links. I have been able to reproduce this on various WordPress installs with different plug-ins. Noticed it on the last and latest WordPress version.

Couldn’t find anything anywhere, because it’s hard to google this problem 😉

    Can anybody help?

    Thanks a lot!
