is there a possibility to make an official GitHub repo with the source in order to allow for easy submission of improvements?

Hi, thanks for the kind words and the suggestion!

I’ve just set up the GitHub repository here: https://github.com/dave2sidefyn/eventadmin-volunteer-management

Feel free to fork it and submit pull requests — I’m happy to review contributions. I’ll be adding a CONTRIBUTING.md with development setup instructions shortly.

That is excellent. I prepared a first patch to improve the filtering of the admin overview a little and will prepare and pull request in due time.
