Sort numeric folders

    We have a list of ‘year folders’ we use to sort newsletters. The current listing is:
    2019
    2011
    2012
    2006
    2007
    2008
    2009
    2010
    2014
    2015
    2016
    2017
    2018
    2013
    2020

    With 2020 in the bottom.I can see in this forum that the sort order is a-z and 0-9 ascending. So ‘200*’ ‘201*’ is lower that 2020. But why is 2019 and 2011 in top then?

    Can I change this order so 2020 is in top and descending from there?

    Hi @cyberioten,

    That’s strange, they should be sorted alphabetically. If you refresh the screen, does that make a difference? Are you using any sort of custom term ordering plugin (such as the Category Order and Taxonomy Terms Order plugin) that could be impacting the order?

    By the way, if you wanted to move 2020 to the top, you could use the above plugin to do that.
