Sort Markers

    Hi!

    Thanks for all the feedback so far.

    Our map: aclsurgeons.co.uk has over 100 markers and is looking great 🙂

    We wondered if there was a way to sort these markers rather than alphabetical order by first name, but instead alphabetical order by surname?

    Hi Will,

    Thanks for the message and glad to hear you’re finding the plugin useful.
    It would be tricky to add functionality to allow sorting by surname instead of firstname, since the title of the pin can be anything (and any number of words), so determining which word to sort on is would be quite complicated.
    In your situation (and given this restriction of having to sort alphabetically on the first word), I would suggest putting the surname first, with a comma, and then the firstname. i.e.

    Ellis, Steven
    Smith, Joe
