Hi lfreitas,
The options you mentioned should all be editable. For example, you should be able to make changes to the “Sort Categories” drop down even if you have “Group FAQs by Category” set to “No”.
Which version of the plugin are you using? The latest is 1.2.3. If you aren’t using this version, could you please update to this version?
If you are indeed already using 1.2.3, could you please try deleting the plugin and then reinstalling it?
If this doesn’t solve it, then it sounds like there might be a conflict with another plugin or with your theme. Could you try switching to the default WordPress theme and then checking to see if you can now modify those options in our plugin? If this doesn’t work, then could you try deactivating the other plugins you have installed and then checking to see if you can now modify those options in our plugin?
Hi,
I’m using the latest, 1.2.3, installed today.
I installed in a fresh install of WordPress (4.4.2) with only this plugin and Twenty Sixteen theme.
-> Changed the theme to Twenty Fifteen = still not working
-> Deleted and reinstalled the plugin = still not working
Is there any other thing that may affecting?
Hi lfreitas,
I apologize for the confusion, but I had assumed, since you were asking about the ordering and styling options, that you were using the premium version. The options that you see grayed out (disabled) are options that are only available in the premium version.
If that is something that you are interested in, we have a list of all premium features on the description page and you can also watch the videos we have created. If you have have any questions about the premium version, please let us know.
Sorry for the confusion.
Thank you
At first I didn’t noticed the “(Premium)” after the Styling Options title, but in Labelling, “Sort Categories”, and “FAQ Ordering” there’s no indicator that are premium features.
I apologize for misunderstanding, but would suggest you to indicate more clearly that these aren’t available in the free version.
That said, thanks for the reply and for the plugin, that seems to fit my needs.
Hi lfreitas,
Thank you for the advice. We will definitely apply that to a future update.
