sophisticated plugin BUT missing key features

    This is a great plugin, but it is missing key features like changing colors and calendar titles.

    These are basic functions and I can only assume there is some reason the developers have left these settings out of their plugin.

    I have wasted hours figuring out have to change the table color of the month/day/list view. I’m currently wasting time trying to figure out how to change the calendar title from the default ‘Events for…’ to something more relevant to my website. And, I kinda know what I’m doing…

    Most of the support/forums are outdated and do not/won’t work for the current version of this plugin.

    This is a very sophisticated plugin. I cannot for the life of me figure out why the developers left out these features. It would be very simple for them to include these functions in the plugins settings.

While we’re always bummed to see a 1 star review, we sincerely appreciate the feedback. Concerns like these help us improve the most and this is no exception.

    In particular, I’m sorry to hear that your experience with support and the forums was poor. We recently relaunched theeventscalendar.com, including a huge batch of tutorials and an updated Themer’s Guide to help specifically with things like changing colors and customizing the plugin’s templates.

    We’re certainly disappointed to get a 1 star review in this case because we agree that this is a very sophisticated plugin and we have tried to make the features as extensible as possible. Still, your feedback is appreciated and will help us as we try to find new ways of making the plugin even better in future releases.
