Some thumbnails working and some not

I have 4 sites that are using this plugin. I have the WP 3.8.1, 2.7 of video thumbnails, wprobot 4 (latest version) and I’m using the video pro theme. At first, I thought I might be rate limited, but I’ve tried scanning many current posts and none of the ones I scan will show a thumbnail. Some get the thumb and some don’t. It seems very random. Doesn’t make any sense. I’ve run the debug mode with the same code in the posts and the image shows up so I know a thumbnail exists. I’ve tested image downloading, and the image downloads. I’ve checked the error logs and I get no errors. The custom field for the thumb is in the config. I’ve deactivated and reactivated the plugin. Cleared thumbs and tried to regen.

Is anyone else experiencing this? I searched and all the posts I found are either getting thumbs or they aren’t, not both like I am.
