Some footer issues

    The footer says:

    Copyright text 2018 by Ohio Cannabis Institute.

    I want to remove the word “text” but I can not figure out where this can be changed at, does anyone know?

    Also, directly above the footer there seems to be some kind of white box that is showing up, once again I can not figure out what this is to turn it off, any ideas?

    And also, I would like to add a link for my privacy page to the bottom in the same area as the Copyright info – how and where would I do this?

    Hello!

    Your theme should definitely have some footer options in the theme’s settings panel or Customizer (Appearance -> Customizer). From there you should be able to edit / remove the text and add links.

    As for the white box, I checked your code and it looks like a Facebook widget should have been there, most likely a Facebook comments widget. So, you should either look for that widget and try to see what’s wrong with it and fix it in order to appear, or disable it completely.

    You can probably find it in your theme’s settings panel, or page, or the Widgets section.

    The only thing I can find relating to facebook was a plugin called “Simple Facebook Page Plugin”

    I have deactivated before posting this thread and still having issues with it.

    I can always do a display: none to get rid of it, but I would like to remove it/disable it the proper way.

    Any other ideas?

    Nothing was showing up under the widget section either.

    I also still can’t find where to remove the word “Text” from the copyright footer?
