• Warning: I’m not a super savvy web designer. I didn’t even know what CSS meant 6 weeks ago. I’ve come a long way, though.

I need something… plug in, software, anything… that will make managing post images easier.

Situation: Let’s say I post 20+ times a day, and each post contains a different image that I found online. You can imagine how time consuming it could be.

I don’t like my current way of handling post images, but it’s the easiest thing I could find on my own. Right now, I’m using a PicasaWeb Firefox plugin that allows me to right click and save an image to my PicasaWeb. Once saved, I go to my PicasaWeb browser, open the album (SLOW loading!), scroll to the bottom, right click to copy the image location, go back to WordPress and insert the image location.

I don’t mind the multiple steps, but 1) I really don’t like my images being hosted on picasaweb (or having a ‘.googleusercontent.12344568777ffddweyh’ file path); and 2) getting to the image is very slow.

Another drawback is that I’m limited to right-clickable image file types. No screenshots.

After researching, I found that there are ways I could both speed up the process and eliminate picasaweb, but I have no idea what’s best, easiest, most reliable, or if there’s an even better way of doing it.

What do you suggest? I use DreamHost, BTW. Not sure if there’s some kind of one-click install or if there’s a wordpress plugin. I want something that’ll make it super easy and fast to include a little image in each post.

    TIA!
