soft shell theme

    I am using soft shell theme for around 2 years now, and over the last year it has really been running super slow, every time I want to edit anything or add content it takes a super long time for it to so,
    is anyone familiar with this theme?

    I’m not familiar with that theme, however the slowness is unlikely to be caused the theme. Have a look at your server, plugins you may have added, caching, DNS issues etc. Otherwise try switching to another theme briefly to see if the theme is the issue.
