Socials not reading OG text

    Hi all,

    I have customised text in the Open Graph Description section of Page SEO settings. But Facebook and LinkedIn are not reading this in link previews and instead show the first sentence of copy on the page.

    Has anyone experienced this before? Is there a solution?

    Hello!

    On your site, I found that the theme outputs duplicated Open Graph metadata. See if you can find a toggle in the theme that halts outputting this metadata. Please advise with the theme-author if you can’t find such a toggle.

    After you toggled off the duplicated metadata, be sure to clear WP Rocket’s cache, and re-scrape the page via Facebook’s sharing debugger to affirm everything’s working correctly.

    Thanks legend, that was a nice easy fix. It’s an Avada theme and I could easily tioggle off OG meta tags.
