    Hello,

    Why do I need a facebook developer app ID in order to give participants the option to share their result on Facebook?

    “In the Social Sharing section of the plugin, here’s what’s stated for Facebook sharing:

    Your Facebook App ID:_________________ (Get one here)

    If you leave it empty, no Facebook share button will be generated.”

    I’m not an app developer and this requirement makes no sense to me, I just want participants to be able to share the quiz on Facebook.

    Please help.

    This is how Facebook sharer works, it requires app ID. It’s not something we want to do, we simply have no choice.

    So how do I set it up? Once I click your link, I then have to choose a platform for the app I’m supposedly developing (website, Android app, IOS app…). I just don’t understand this process, it’s all about developing an app, which I’m not doing. Can you please explain more, so I can get a live app ID and move on from this with my quiz.
