Support » Theme: OceanWP » Social Icons Missing

    I have the problem that the Social Icons arent displayed. I tried at the Top-Bar Menu and in the footer, the Icons are still missing.

    The Problem shows up, after i edited the Page with Elementor. If i added a Icon-Box all the Social Media Icons are broken except for the Mail Icon. If i add new pages without the Icon-Box Element everything workes fine.

    I only have the following Plugins enabled:
    Elementor, Ocean Extra and WPForms Lite.

    Somebody can help me?

    We are integrating Font Awesome 5 to fix this issue. We will release a fix very soon for this issue.

    The internal product page shows icons normally so, it’s no about font awesome.

    It only affects the pages on which you have the Elementor. Please wait for the update. We will release it very soon.

    Hi, is the Font Awesome update still under way? I’m having exactly the same issue on my home page.

    Thank you

    Sorry for the delay, yes the next update will fix the social icon issue. For now, you can use the below code –

    .fa {
      font-family: FontAwesome;

    Thanks for your reply. It worked 🙂 So i can wait for the Update. Thank you!!

    Glad to hear that it worked!

    I’m facing the same problem. Where do I use it?

    I have the same problem. I have added the css but this makes no difference. The cache has been cleaned too. For me there are two social icons, Facebook and Instagram. It is the Facebook icon that doesn’t work and icons show on some pages but not others. If Essential Addons for Elementor is enabled then the Facebook icon doesn’t work on any page and disabled it works on some pages.

    Using Chrome inspector doesn’t show any changes between the two.

    This also affects the ‘scroll to top’ icon

    All plugins up-to-date
    WP up-to-date
    PHP 7.3

    @temerity001 try using the below code. It should work –

    .fa {
      font-family: FontAwesome !important;

    Thanks for the reply. I saw this earlier in the thread and tried it (and added the important tag) but it still doesn’t work.

    From what I can see, it is an element on the page that is causing the conflict as some pages work and others do not. Basic pages and the shop work okay, but others with any formatting have this problem.

    Thank you for this~ I was wondering why my social icon was loading on the Desktop, but not in the Sider on Mobile.
