SMTP ERROR

Hola,
He configurado el plugin Easy WP SMTP, sin embargo, a la hora de enviar un email de prueba, aparece el siguiente error:
SMTP ERROR: Failed to connect to server: (0)SMTP connect() failed. https://github.com/PHPMailer/PHPMailer/wiki/Troubleshooting
No sé con qué tiene que ver este error. ¿Alguien podría ayudarme?
