smart slider height wrong
-
Hi,
I’m using the Smart Slider 3 Pro plugin and somehow when I adjust the content of my slider to be higher than the height of my desktop, elements which comes next in the flow overlap my smart slider.
its hard to explain and I cant show you the website because its for my work.It seems like the highest height I can get for the wrapper is the desktop height.
for example I want my smart slider to be 1500px high. my desktop is only 1000px high. now the part till the 1000px is perfectly fine. but the rest of smartslider is overlapping with the next element. for example a text element.
the content of these 500px is still shown but somehow it is not recognized to have a height. when I inspect the area where these left 500px of the smart slider are I get to the element which is overlapping. in this example the text elememt (H1).
In the settings of the smart slider I can adjust “Height based on” but therer are only “real height” and “css 100vh” and none of them are helping me with my problem.
please help, thanks 🙂

Hi @damirmq!
Your problem sounds like as if the slider’s placement would have an issue, not the slider itself. Is it possible, that you are using some kind of “fullpage” placement created by your page builder or theme?
If you put the slider somewhere completely else, do you see the problem there too? If you do, please send me an export of your slider:

and we will take a look at it!thanks. I submitted the export

I solved the problem somehow because of your hint.
I gave the class n2-section-smartslider a height of 100% and it worked.
thank you -
