Small pop-up comment window?

    Hi,
    I’d like to add comments to words or groups of words by hyperlinking them so that when you click on them or hover above them a small text window would pop up. E.g. similar to what you see in Explorer when you hover above long file names.

    I have seen this done with something called ‘Overlib’ but I understand this would not work with php? Would anyone have an alternative suggestion?
