Hi Bjarne @oldrup,
Thanks for your feedback and for your question. Getwid has not been tested for compatibility with PHP 8 yet. I’ve added your request to our list of features and notify you if we have any news.
Hey @dimned
Thank you for your feedback.
Forgive me for this little reminder. I’ve installed and tested the latest version of Getwid moments ago, and I sure appreciate all the updates. However, there is still a problem with this error in a PHP 8 environment
Deprecated: Required parameter $block follows optional parameter $block_content in /home/oldrupdk/oldrup.net/wp-content/plugins/getwid/includes/blocks/abstract-block.php on line 62
I’m no expert, but it seems like this single deprecation error, is the only thing that stands in the way of updating sites with Getwid, to PHP 8 which is supported way into 2022.
I’d be happy to test an updated Getwid with PHP 8 and WP 5.7 the minute it arrives 🙂

@oldrup check 1.6.11 please
Guys that’s amazing! Thank you for your great effort with this plugin. It’s very appreciated. The latest release works perfectly with PHP 8 and WP 5.7, great job.
Kind regards
Bjarne
