Hi, quick question. When I duplicate a page, I usually want to review it before publishing. Is there a simple way to keep the copied version unpublished by default? Just checking the best setting.

    Hi @dasia98 ,

Great question – yes, you can easily set duplicated pages to stay as Drafts by default so you can review them before publishing.

    Just go to:
    Settings → Duplicate Page
Under “Duplicate Post Status”, select Draft from the dropdown
    Click Save Changes

That’s it! All future duplicates will now be saved as drafts – no manual status change needed. You’ll still see them in your Posts/Pages list under “Drafts” for easy editing or publishing when ready.

Let us know if you’d like help with any other settings!

    Best regards,
    Duplicate Page Support
